After suffering only a slight set back with a small kitchen fire in early January, Hank's on the Hill is cooking again!
Hank's on the Hill invites the Capitol Hill community to stop in for a cocktail, brunch or dinner.

Hank’s Oyster Bar Chef Jamie Leeds’ classic coastal style includes seasonal staples such as Chesapeake Bay rockfish, Maryland’s official state fish. But the star is Jamie’s signature oyster, the meaty and mild Hayden’s Reef, developed in collaboration with Dragon Creek Aqua Farm. The don’t-miss side: Old Bay fries, sprinkled with Maryland’s distinctive seasoning.

In August 2012, Capitol Hill resident Thomas “TC” Maslin was assaulted and found in serious condition near Eastern Market. CHAMPS and our sister organization Celebrate Capitol Hill were proud to work with the business community and our neighbors to raise over $80,000 to help support the Maslin family in their time of need. In addition to the our fundraising efforts, CHAMPS and Celebrate Capitol Hill helped lead the first Annual Ward 6 Fall Safety Festival to promote public safety and educate the community on crime fighting initiatives.
TC Maslin has made great strides in his recovery but still has a ways to go. He and his family are grateful for the support of the community.
Celebrate Capitol Hill, a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to support, strengthen and promote businesses and our community, has started a collection to help support TC, his wife Abby and their infant son Jack.

Join CHAMPS in supporting Frager's, in the wake of the fire that gutted their buildings on June 5, 2013. They are planning to rebuild and would welcome community support to help with costs not covered by insurance.
The Capitol Hill Community Foundation is accepting online donations now! Indicate "Frager's Fund" in the dedication area to make sure your gift goes directly to this cause.
CHAMPS members and friends stand strong with Frager's owner, management, and employees in their resolve to rebuild and make a come back.
